Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion During Mass

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) assist with the distribution of the Eucharist on Sundays and Holy Days.  There is one initial training session and one enrichment session each year.  The EMHC must be 18 years old and a fully initiated member of the Church in good standing.  The EMHC should be a public witness to the faith and recognized as such in the parish where they minister.  The EMHC is commissioned for 5 years.  Scheduling is done once every three to four months.  Volunteers may indicate their Mass time preference.
