Confirmation
Preparation for the reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation occurs during the student's 10th and 11th grade years of faith formation. Again, the program is structured to include parents and/or sponsors in the weekly classroom instruction periods and the instruction focuses on the way the Holy Spirit guides our everyday lives.
Confirmation usually occurs during the second half of the student's 11th grade year of faith formation.
In addition to attending regular faith formation classes, each student must attend two retreats, complete five hours of service to the church and four hours of service to the community, choose a Saint’s name and write a letter to the bishop explaining why he/she believes they are ready for Confirmation.

RCIA is one of the ministries of our
Catholic Area Faith Community of Jesus Our Living Water
WHAT is RCIA? The Process by which those adults interested in becoming Catholic or learning about Catholicism meet weekly for study and reflection on basic teachings of the Church.
WHO? It is for baptized or unbaptized persons interested in becoming Catholic or inactive members who wish to return to the Church. They experience faith through presentations in a community setting with other candidates and with fully initiated team members and sponsors who act as mentors.
WHEN? It is a yearlong formation process that begins in September and follows the Liturgical Year of the Church. Candidates and their sponsors participate in Rites at the beginning of Advent and Lent and during the Easter Vigil.
There is an informational session in August. You are welcome to contact the parish office at any time with questions or to sign up to be contacted for the coming year.
